Essential Functions of Transportation Specialist - Certified Nursing Assistant:
Transports residents, staff, volunteers, and others to scheduled events.
Coordinates transportation services with appropriate staff members
Assists residents in and out of the vehicle, using proper safety procedures
Operates mechanical lift as required for wheelchair bound patients
Follows written and verbal before leaving center with residents
Obtain appropriate paperwork before leaving center with resident
Assess and correct inappropriate resident appearance before leaving center
Follow Resident's Rights
Follow center safety protocol
Dress professional and represent the center in a professional manner
Monitors and reports necessary mechanical maintenance needed to ensure safe operations of vehicle, including reporting of any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working conditions
Maintains records such as vehicle logs and destinations are required
Reports any issues or problem that may arise to the Transportation Coordinator and Administrator
Complies with state, federal and all other applicable health care and safety standards
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications of Transportation Specialist - Certified Nursing Assistant:
Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience is preferred
CNA certification is required!
Valid State Insurance and License
Must be able to operate a vehicle
Must be CPR certified

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
